Welchen Widerstand leisten die Koerper einer globalen Kulturdynamik? Und wie verbinden sich Koerperwissen und kulturelle Vielfalt? Im IN TRANSIT Lab 06 befragen Kuenstler und Wissenschaftler aus Brasilien, Indien, Europa, Afrika, den USA und dem Mittleren Osten Kulturbegriffe und Kulturpolitiken. Der Koerper rueckt als Subjekt kultureller Identitaet und Transformation zunehmend ins Zentrum kuenstlerischer Produktion und kultureller Gestaltung von Gegenwart. Ist er einerseits eingebettet in die kulturellen Muster, die durch Traditionen ueberliefert und reflektiert werden, so ist der Koerper andererseits ein einzigartiges Archiv eines kollektiven Wissens, das nur in Bruchteilen rationalisiert ist.
