Zu sehen sind Installationen und Videoarbeiten von Angie Reed (USA), Sue Denim von Robots in Disguise (UK), Hanayo (Japan), Miss le Bomb (UK), Olivia Pils (Deutschland), Sister Chain (Israel), Nora Below (Schweden) und Legs Akimbo und Psykat vom Team Plastique (Australien). Mit diesen Arbeiten präsentieren sie sich auf unkonventionelle Weise als eine neue Generation von starken, originellen und unabhängigen Musikerinnen und Künstlerinnen, wie sie nur eine Stadt wie Berlin hervorbringen kann.   Die Ausstellung eröffnet am 2. Mai mit live Performances und Musik der anwesenden Künstlerinnen und DJs. Für den 23. Mai ist ein abschließendes Konzert im Club Eschschloraque geplant.   Eröffnungsparty: Freitag, 2. Mai um 20 Uhr Finissage und Konzert: Samstag, 24. Mai um 22 Uhr im Eschschloraque     Secrets of the Berlin Supermuse features the works of 9 international female musicians currently based in Berlin. Featuring art installations and video works by Angie Reed (USA), Sue Denim- Robots in Disguise (UK), Hanayo (Japan), Miss le Bomb (UK), Olivia Pils (Germany), Sister Chain (Israel), Nora Below (Sweden) and Legs Akimbo and Psykat from Team Plastique (Australia) ­ the exhibition highlights the multi-dimensional and non conventional work of these musicians who also create visual art. In doing so, Secrets of the Berlin Supermuse reveals some of the mysteries behind why Berlin has always attracted and produced such strongly original and independent female musicians and artists.   Opening night features live performances and DJs on the opening night May 2 and a showcase concert takes place downstairs at Eschschloraque on May 23.
